The Apples Are Growing

The apples are growing well although this is an off year for the tree. They are not ripe yet but that doesn't stop the Boy Bops from eating them.



The apple tree got hurt really bad in a storm a few years ago. A big portion of it broke off due to heavy wind. It still bore fruit after this but we suspect it is dying. It is an old tree, my husband's grandmother remembers it from when she was a little girl and she is in her late 80s now.



This is why I can't keep deer out of my yard. They love to eat the fallen apples. Long as they stay out of my garden, I don't mind.
