When Was the Last Time You Went Dumpster Diving?

I'm going tonight at the dumpster of a local discount drug store. Every year around the beginning of the school year they throw away a massive amount of every kind of marker, crayons, sparkly glue, washable/erasable pens, glitter this and that, paper, etc. If a package gets opened just slightly they throw it out. And unlike w*lm*rt and other chains they don't crush all their garbage so no one else can use it, they just throw it in the dumpster.

I rarely buy stuff like washable markers because they are so expensive, but will certainly use them if I get them for free. Our craft drawer is running meager, the other day t-bop was scrounging for paper and most of the markers are all dried out with crispy tips, so I'm gonna go dumpster diving for more. Last year I got a big old bag's worth of stuff. Other people in the area have got hip to this so I may not get that much this year. We'll see. :)

How about you, when was the last time you went dumpster diving? (and for the uninitiated, here's what dumpster diving is all about, and yes it is usually considered legal!
