Blackberries Starting to Ripen!

This is our blackberry patch that's right next to the garden. Some people buy a blackberry plant from a nursery but our patch was started a few years ago by the kids throwing in that spot blackberries we got from back in the woods. This patch has doubled in size since last year! I had to cut it back quite a bit or else it would be in the garden by now. The berries are starting to ripen. This makes me very happy.
