20-Week Fitness Challenge: Week 3, Day 19
I am now 200 pounds! at the start of the challenge I was 210. I will be so happy when I am under 200, right now to me that feels like breaking the sound barrier, LOL.
Last night we saw a bowflex commercial, the one with the 49 year old grandma who looks like she's 30ish, and the boys were all, Mom you should get a bowflex, that lady lost 17 pounds in 5 weeks! I laughed and said hey I just might lose just as much working out at the Y, I've lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks.
I'm losing a little over 3 pounds a week, which my doctor says is fine given my weight. and I may lose even more until I am out of the obese weight range. When I am within 20-40 pounds of my goal my weight loss may slow down to 1-2 pounds a week because it won't take as much energy to move around as it does now so I will have less calories burned per activity then.
I went to the Y this morning by myself and got my workout in. The rest of the day's exercise is just walking, doing my steps. as of right now I've done 4792 steps.
Today's Goals
1/2 hour elliptical
1/2 hour treadmill
10, 000 steps
No salt added to food
Brush & floss after every meal
10 cups water, 8 oz each
One serving meals, no seconds
Raw veggies snacks
Raw fruit dessert
Bedtime 10pm
weight loss by day 19 - 10 pounds
