No Poor People

Yah, I don't think there should be any poor people either. If you do, tell me why you think poverty should exist; why do you think there should be poor people?

If you don't, but support the continuation of the wealthy class, tell me why. and if you feel there should be no rich people, tell me what you think we should do, can do. For starters I'm joining LIFE, and voting in the upcoming election for a state bill that if passed, would guarantee college education for all kids in Ohio. What do you plan to do, what are your suggestions? (and no, I can't continue to ignore what the rich do and just act like I am not affected by their continued evil. been there, done that. I'm not gonna be silent anymore.)

and remember folks who support the class system, this is only a conversation. No will make the rich share their money from this conversation. In fact, I believe this class system won't be dismantled in our lifetimes. So don't get nervous or anxious or get all twitchy at talk of doing away with the way things are now. In short, it is ok for the poor and the not-so poor to talk about how the rich oppress everybody else and to want them to stop. If that means them coming off some ends(money), oh well. It's ok to say they need to come off some ends (among other things). It is important, however, to understand this is a conversation on the internet and no one is actually trying to grab out the pockets of the rich people. Rest assured, all the starving children doomed to die today will be just as dead. The war will still be going on, and you can still go shop at Wal-Mart.

Personally I don't think anybody should be poor. I think most everyone wants to, and that is able to would be willing to work, to contribute to society under a guaranteed income system. Heck, most people are willing to work now, even those unfortunate souls who got shafted because of poverty, racism, sexism, etc. and there are millions of americans, MILLIONS, who currently work for minimum wage. and they work JUST AS HARD if not harder than, as any rich people do, believe that. So I think any arguement opposed to doing away with the class system based on 'all' those folk who won't work is....bizarre. Maybe instead of re-distributing the wealth, we should talk about spreading the poor around more, ha. Make all the rich folks live on $206 dollars week (and that's before taxes). Make all the rich somehow buy food, clothing, pay rent, transportation, electricty, gas, medical care, dental care, etc. on that.

I believe it is possible for humanity as a species to provide for the species. I feel we are evolving socially in leaps and bounds, and someday our social network, our way of relating to each other, will catch up to our level of intelligence. Right now, the most socially advanced culture (and most americans actually believe this is the USA) still operates at a primitive and barbaric way of thinking.

But one day, there will be no rich people. There will be no poor people. and if my bones are still solid, when that day comes, I will turn over in my grave and think, ROCK ON.
