Hard

I am finding letter writing to my sisters and brothers slow going. My relationships with them are all about childhood stuff or our current relationships with our parents…I have found that I don’t really know my siblings that well as people, as individuals outside of our family. This surprises and saddens me. I have one brother I would have said I was close to and 3 sisters I felt close to, but in repeatedly trying to write letters to them I realized that outside of childhood stories and family news, I struggled with what to say.
