Declutter Step 1
1) The front porch. WAY TOO MANY TOYS. Many of them are broken or the missing pieces or whatever, or just plain outgrown. See the baby stroller? Um, my youngest is almost 8 years old. The kids have been usingit for a toy since he outgrew it and busted up one of the wheels about 5 years ago, so I couldn’t give it away. My husband and I are going to have to take a few hours and prune their toys, and be ruthless about it. Givew away a lot and throw away the junk.
2) Closet on the back porch. I have a million boxes stuffed in there, supposedly to use for holiday gifts. I have boxes in theres from 2000.
3) Upstairs hall closet. Now I cleaned this out earlier in the year, and stuff is starting to creep back into it.
4) My closet. filled with summer stuff, fall stuff, winter stuff. Lotta stuff I don’t even wear anymore. Give away nice stuff I don’t wear anymore and cut up the raggedy stuff to use for my quilts.
5) Quilt drawers and area. We have a window seat in the dining room with 2 big drawers in it that I stuff all my quilting stuff in; that could be more organized.
