MamaGathering 2006
I had such a blast at the MamaGathering in 2004:

I wish some mamas had picked it up for 2005, but no one did. I was thinking we could have it in Cleveland next year. I'm just throwing this out there, getting the ball rolling. Any ideas or tips or offers to help are welcome! Children and partners are welcome, expected, and included!

MamaGathering is an alternative multi-cultural mothering conference for women who care about their children and seek to make the best parenting choices for their families. MamaGathering is an independent, volunteer-produced, sponsor and donation-supported grassroots effort to strengthen the radical mothering community. Children and male partners welcome, expected, and included, however this is a mama-focused event. Some workshops will be women-only and this is a womanist, feminist, teenage mother and queer mother friendly event.
Advance registration is necessary and extrememly helpful in our planning. Sign up for the email list at gathering@mspmedia.net for updates, and check back frequently for site updates as the planning progresses.
Spread the word! link the site, and donate ad space, merchandise, money, your talents, or your time.
