Dancing with John
I went dancing with my brother John last Saturday after my daughter's birthday party. It was so much fun! We haven't gone out together in I don't know how long, years and years. He recently moved back to Cleveland and everytime we talked we kept saying, yeah, we should go out! but just never got it together.
We went to this club called Karma Nightclub, it was cool. I had never been there before but John said it's fairly new. If you know the Cleveland flats area, it's where the Powerhouse video game section used to be. I can't dance worth spit but I don't care,I still like to dance. John can really dance and he's very energetic so between the two of us we attracted quite a few watchers. People watching him dance and watching me wondering what the hell is she doing, ha. John said I did keep on beat and I have my own style and that's all that matters. What a sweet brother!
The only thing I didn't like was that the smoking section was where all the action was at. The club is divided into three sections and in the part where people weren't smoking it was kinda boring. It took me about half an hour to stop feeling shy but then I started dancing and had mass fun. I met a friend of John's, some girl he had met there, and talked to a few other people.
We had so much fun! We danced until closing. Then we talked all the way home, it was nice. I feel a lot closer to my brother, we've had a minor falling-out years and years ago and though we made up I didn't feel as close to him as when we were kids. It's good to feel that we are truly friends again.
